Details: Our school is a PYP candidate school looking for a homeroom teacher for our Kindergarten and grades 4 and 5 classrooms.
About the role
The successful candidate will be a passionate and dedicated team member who loves teaching and brings the best out of every child.
In this role, you will be required to:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with all children, families, and work colleagues
Build rapport with children through play, engage in conversation, and help create learning experiences around their interests.
Ensure the classroom environment is developmentally appropriate for children.
Regularly monitor and assess the student’s progress using all forms of summative and formative assessments.
Create a friendly, secure, and interactive learning environment
Be part of a supportive team environment and collaboratively plan and teach units of Inquiry.
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are always maintained.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Education preferred)
Teaching certificate from the host country (Preferred)
Has 1-2 years of experience working with a similar level
Currently resides in Southeast Asia(preferred)
Benefits:
1. Salary range: 1,500 - 1800 USD(depending on qualifications)
