Position: History Teacher
An American School in Kuwait is seeking a passionate and experienced History Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering a stimulating learning environment, with the ability to engage students in critical thinking and historical inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the American History curriculum to middle and high school students (Grades 10-12).
Plan and implement engaging lessons that encourage student participation and critical analysis of historical events.
Utilize a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to promote academic growth.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a supportive school environment.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in History, Political Science, Social Studies
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an American or international school.
Familiarity with the American curriculum.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Experience in integrating technology into the classroom is a plus.
