Job Summary
Crane International School Myanmar (CISM) is looking for a native English speaker with experience of teaching aged 3~6 years old students. The candidate must be an inspirational classroom practitioner with a love for young children, commitment to high standards of achievement and a willingness to contribute to the further development of the school.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Be knowledgeable with UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworks and
Cambridge Year 1 curriculum
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver developmentally
appropriate activities and class materials
• Help young learners to have smooth transition from pre-kg to Year 1
• Maintain effective classroom management and develop good habits by
promoting positive discipling methods in classrooms
• Assist in identifying and reporting children’s physical and emotional needs
through observation, discussion and follow-up
• Establish and maintain respectful working relationships with colleagues, parents,
communities and stakeholders.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development training as required.
• Follow school policies outlined in the staff handbook, including Health and Safety and Child Safeguarding policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3-year experience of teaching
• Have relevant experience teaching early years and Cambridge Year 1 curriculum.
• Native English Speaker is preferred however an experienced teacher with near-native level of English is welcomed to apply.
