Homeschool/Worldschool for Private Family
Details: Looking to hire a full-time, live-in teacher on location in a Caribbean beachtown to home/worldschool the kiddos as we work!
I’ll get into specifics :)) My hubby and I are buying a gorgeous but in-need-of-work beachfront eco-resort in a small beachtown on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. We are now looking for a teacher/nanny to be on-location with us in paradise as we relocate our family down there to renovate, expand, and run the resort! (Discretion is a must).
The project will begin January 2024 (we estimate will go through the 2024/2025 school year, project-dependent) and if the teacher’s not local to the town, we’ll provide housing and food and a salary (negotiable).
Part of the day will be guiding the kids (12, 9, 5) through US-based online curriculum, then worldschooling them! (Taking them out to explore the gorgeous world around them - with outdoor adventures, becoming part of the small community’s population, and learning the culture of the island!) A dreamy opportunity for the right person!
We will need someone who speaks great English and Spanish (we don’t, yet! lol), is self-driven professionally, loves the outdoors, is flexible enough to integrate into our family, and who will appreciate and love this amazing project with all it’s chaos and unknowns and magic.
Teacher must have an education that will pass US-equivalency.
Candidates may reach out to me directly, or also I would appreciate any resources for where I should be looking/posting for this type of adventurous travel teacher!
Thanks so much! 🙂
