Details: Cambridge International School Queen Anne based in Erbil, Iraq is seeking an experienced Chemistry Teacher and Academic Coordinator for our IGCSE and AS/A level programs. CISQ has served the students of Erbil since 2007 and is a local leader in international education.
CISQ is seeking a Secondary School Chemistry Teacher to join our team for Academic Year 2023-2024. The successful candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Science or a related subject along with solid classroom experience in teaching Chemistry to secondary school learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and delivering lessons that are stimulating and clear.
Educating students on laboratory safety and ensuring all experiments are carried out responsibly and with full awareness of health and safety concerns.
Carrying out summative and formative assessments as appropriate and required.
Engaging with parent queries as appropriate.
Ensuring a safe, healthy classroom environment where learning can take place.
Any other school duties as required.
CISQ is also seeking a Secondary School Academic Quality Coordinator to join our team for Academic Year 2023-2024. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in supporting teachers and students from Years 6 to 12, including the IGCSE and AS/A Level programs. Ideally, the successful candidate will possess qualifications in education management, curriculum design or international school management.

The Academic Coordinator is responsible for effective curriculum delivery within the Secondary School, the achievement of departmental goals and learning outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and supporting teachers in the delivery of their duties, meeting with parents and students to ensure academic needs are being met.
