Details: The Thomas Jefferson STEM School,(TJSS) in Concepción, Chile is looking for English Teacher beginning preferably in February 2026 to February 2027. The TJSS is a private school with an enrolment of 1087 students ranging in age from 24 months to age 18. Jefferson students begin studying English at age three therefore by 9th grade are quite fluent.
The Ideal Candidate has:
1. Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor’s of Arts
2. Two years of teaching experience - Work with student’s years 6 -12
3. Basic knowledge of Spanish
4. Have a strong love for the English language and a desire to share that love with bilingual students.
5. Willing to participate & implement new programs, eg. a gifted & talent program.
6. Willing to make a two year commitment.
Benefits:
1. One round trip airfare from the U.S. to Concepcion-Reimbursed upon completion of first year contract.
