This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IB PYP teacher to join our thriving Primary Years Department
The IB PYP Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality education in accordance with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme , with a specific focus in the integration into the curriculum. This role includes creating a stimulating learning environment, fostering international-mindedness, and supporting the development of students’ cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement a comprehensive, inquiry-based curriculum in line with the IB PYP framework. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, communication skills, and intercultural understanding. Assessment and Reporting: Design and administer assessments to evaluate students’ progress in the subject. International-Mindedness: Foster an international-minded perspective among students, encouraging respect for diverse cultures and global awareness.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organized learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour and student interactions effectively. Professional Development: Stay updated on IB PYP principles and practices. Continuously develop and refine teaching strategies to enhance student-learning outcomes.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other PYP teachers and staff to ensure a coherent and transdisciplinary approach to education. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and engage in parent-teacher conferences.
