Details: Villa Montessori Schools looking for a dynamic, motivated, Teacher to join our Elementary team for the 2024-2025 school year. This person will work collaboratively with the Elementary team to implement our curriculum consistent with the Montessori Method and principles. The Associate Teacher position is a full-time, fully benefitted position scheduled onsite Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 3:40 pm.
THE POSITION
The Associate Elementary Teacher will utilize best practices in the classroom based on current research in child development and education which are appropriate to the learning objectives for the elementary grades. You will support students by implementing strategies and accommodations geared towards the individual child. You will be responsible for working and communicating with other teachers, Learning Resources, Administrators and parents in an effort to provide the best learning environment and support for each student’s individual progress.

Education & Experience
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field and Elementary Montessori Certification. You must have a minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience in a school setting, preferably Montessori. Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication, organization skills are preferred. This person must be adaptable to different situations, communication and social styles. Patience, the ability to stay calm and maintain respectful and peaceful communication with children and adults is also essential.
