Details: *Job Description:*
We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated English teacher to join our team at an international school affiliated with the University of Cambridge. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching English classes to students of various levels and ages, preparing them for the international IGCSE, CAE and CPE exams.
*Main responsibilities:*
1. Plan and execute effective English classes according to the curriculum established by the University of Cambridge.
2. Prepare students for the international IGCSE, CAE and CPE exams, ensuring a high level of success in the tests.
3. Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their language development.
4. Foster an interactive and participatory learning environment that motivates students to improve their English skills.
5. Collaborate with other members of the English department and academic staff to develop effective educational strategies and innovative teaching resources.
6. Participate in extracurricular activities related to English, such as debate clubs, spelling bees, etc., to enrich the educational experience of students.
*Minimum requirements:*
1. University degree in Education, Applied Linguistics, or related field.
2. Certification in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or other recognized equivalent).
3. Demonstrable teaching experience in teaching English as a foreign language, preferably in an international environment.
4. In-depth knowledge of the international IGCSE, CAE and CPE exams, as well as experience in preparing students for these tests.
5. Minimum level of proficiency in English C1 or C2.
6. Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students and use differentiated pedagogical approaches.
8. Commitment to academic excellence and the comprehensive development of students.
