Details: Billabong High International School Maldives is seeking a highly motivated and experienced teachers (Secondary & Higher Secondary) to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching students at various levels and helping them develop their skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning.
Job Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree (MNQF Level 7) in the chosen subject or a relevant qualification in the subject area.
• A Degree or a higher teaching qualification certificate.
• Must be proficient in English language (speaking and writing).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of subject concepts and principles.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching strategies.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Relevant experience in teaching IGCSE O & A’ Level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Teaching experience in an international school and demonstrate knowledge of Cambridge English syllabus.
Salary and benefits
• MVR 21,500.00 - MVR 23,500.00 per month ( Annual Income: MVR 278,550.00 - MVR 298,700.00 per annum)
• As per the company Policy:
o Annual Bonus
o Attendance Bonus
o Staff members are eligible for a discount on monthly school tuition fees for children of staff members at schools managed by Islanders Education
