1. Respect and enforce all school policies, including academic integrity and assessment protocols.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with classroom teachers and professionals to support students with learning needs.
2. Serve as an expert special educator, applying current educational trends effectively.
3. Develop student support plans that offer rich curriculum experiences and tailored teaching methodologies.
4. Engage students in active, progressive, and relevant learning within the classroom or co-teaching environment.
5. Assess and document student progress, including report card narratives.
6. Utilize formative and summative assessment data to guide instructional decisions and adaptations.
7. Address varying academic, physical, and emotional needs among students confidently.
8. Demonstrate adeptness with technology for teaching, learning, and student communication.
9. Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, and administrators.
10. Foster positive relationships within the school community and faculty.
11. Implement diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate students requiring curricular adjustments.
12. Share and apply teaching strategies tailored to individual student needs.
13. Interpret psycho-educational testing to inform classroom practices effectively.
14. Provide differentiated instruction in general education classrooms and small groups.
