Position Overview:
Aalam International Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our innovative educational community. We are a bilingual school that integrates American and Kyrgyz educational standards to provide a holistic and culturally enriched learning environment. Our school offers classes from 1st to 6th grade, with a focus on developing well-rounded students through both academic excellence and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum standards.
- Incorporate technology and the Exact Path platform to enhance student learning in Reading, Language Arts, and Math.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to ensure student success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices.
- Lead or assist with after-school clubs and activities that align with students’ interests and talents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in teaching at the elementary level.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Kyrgyz or Russian is a plus.
- Strong preference for candidates who can teach English effectively and have the ability to teach Math.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
