Key Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required. A teaching certification or license is preferred.
Experience: Prior teaching experience in primary or middle school is highly desirable. Experience with classroom management and differentiated instruction is a plus.
Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with primary and middle school curricula, in English.
Student-Centered Approach: Ability to design and implement lesson plans that cater to the varying needs and abilities of students.
Creativity and Engagement: Capable of delivering lessons that stimulate critical thinking, creativity, and active participation among students.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both with students and staff, are essential.
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and integrate technology into the classroom.
Commitment to Growth: Eagerness to participate in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons to students at various levels.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and regular feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay updated with the latest educational trends and practices.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as required.
