Details: 🏫We are now hiring a full-time on-site role for an English Language Arts High School Teacher at Christian American School of Guatemala located just outside of Guatemala City, in San Cristobal. Our curriculum is based on the U.S. Common Core Standards.

🎓 Seeking Qualifications: 🎓
Preferred Bachelor’s Degrees
-Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Education
-Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
-Bachelor of Arts (BA) in (AYA) Education with an English focus
-Any bachelor’s degree with a major in English or 18 semester hours in English.
Preferred Master’s Degrees
-Master of Arts in Secondary Education
-Master of Arts in Teaching
-Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
-Any master’s degree program that leads to educator certification.
- Passionate about teaching science
- Ability to plan and implement lessons for 6–12th grade science
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
- Native English speaker
- Teaching certification or licensure (preferred)
- Experience using classroom technology (preferred)
