Globe Cambridge High School in Ezhou, Hubei is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our International Department, which serves students in Grades 7 to 9. All of our students are English as a Second Language (ESL) learners, so we are looking for a teacher who can deliver subject content clearly and supportively while promoting English language development.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics, and may also be required to teach Science, depending on the timetable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Mathematics to ESL learners in Grades 7–9
• Possibly teach additional Science classes as required
• Use clear, structured teaching that supports both subject knowledge and language acquisition
• Apply formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and support progress
• Integrate CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) techniques
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle or high school
• Experience working with ESL students
• Strong understanding of pedagogy and assessment
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) is desirable but not essential
• Commitment to professional growth and reflective practice
