Details: The Middle and High School Science & Mathematics Teacher at SISU School of Ulaanbaatar is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics and science aligned with the American Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) where applicable. Key Responsibilities: 1. Teaching & Curriculum Implementation Plan and deliver high-quality instruction in middle and high school mathematics and science aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and relevant science standards.Develop engaging lessons that promote conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning.2. Student Learning & Academic Development 2. Foster strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. -Support students in developing scientific inquiry, data analysis, and mathematical modeling skills. -Differentiate instruction to support students with diverse learning needs. -Encourage academic integrity and independent learning habits. 3.Assessment & Progress Monitoring -Design and implement formative and summative assessments aligned with curriculum standards. -Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback. -Maintain accurate records of student performance. -Prepare report cards, academic reports, and progress updates. 4. Experience Experience teaching middle or high school mathematics or science. -Experience teaching Common Core or similar international curriculum is preferred. -Experience in international schools is an advantage.
