Fully Online Private Tutor (Hourly) – GCE O-Level, A-Level, and Languages

Prometheus Institute LLP is a leading online tuition agency based in Singapore. We specialize in providing high-quality academic support for students from Secondary to Junior College levels. We are currently expanding our pool of part-time tutors to meet the growing demand for GCE O-Level, A-Level, and language subjects (English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and Elective Languages such as Korean), however there is the option to work full-time for tutors with potential.

Key Responsibilities
· Plan and conduct engaging online tutoring sessions tailored to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE syllabus (O-Level, A-Level).
· Provide clear instruction in the assigned subject area, helping students grasp complex concepts.
· Assess students’ progress through assignments, tests, and regular feedback.
· Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance (if required).
· Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
Requirements
· Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (currently pursuing or graduated). Preference for those who have taken/have experience with the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O/A Level system.
· Experience: Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly preferred.
· Subject Expertise:
· For O/A Level: Strong grasp of the specific subject syllabus (e.g., Math, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, History, Geography).
· For Languages: Native or near-native proficiency in the target language (English, Chinese, Bahasa Melayu, Tamil or Elective Languages such as Korean) with the ability to teach composition, comprehension, and oral skills.
· Technical: Must have a stable internet connection, a computer with a camera, and basic proficiency in using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
· Language: Excellent communication skills in English (required for all tutors). Additional language proficiency for language-specific roles.
