We, Gate Academy, are currently seeking passionate and dedicated native English-speaking teachers to join our team in Global Education City (GEC) in Jeju.
Our academy is located in the heart of GEC, where several international schools are based. We work with highly motivated Korean students from elementary through high school, many of whom have strong English proficiency and are eager to learn.
* Open Positions
• English Writing Teacher (1 position)
• Math Teacher (teaching Math in English) (1 position)
* About Our Academy
• Small-group classes with a maximum of 4 students
• 1:1 private lessons available
• Supportive and collaborative environment with 4 native English-speaking teachers currently on staff
• Students are academically motivated, engaged, and comfortable communicating in English
* Qualifications
We are looking for teachers who:
• Are native English speakers (E-2 visa holders, F visa holders can also apply)
• Can teach English Writing or Math in English
• Have at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a private academy or similar educational setting
• Are punctual, responsible, and enthusiastic about teaching children and teenagers
• Work well with fellow teachers and staff in a team-oriented environment
* Preferred
• Degree in English, TESOL, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license
• Experience in international schools, bilingual programs, or English immersion settings
* Working Hours & Benefits
• Monday–Friday
• 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM (including break time)
• 11 paid vacation days in the first year
• Additional unpaid leave may be requested with prior approval
