About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to young learners in a nurturing and structured classroom environment, in line with UAE Ministry of Education standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science, Social Studies)
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
- Follow the school’s curriculum framework and UAE MOE guidelines
- Support students’ social and emotional wellbeing
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of primary teaching experience
- Native or near-native English speaker preferred
- Experience with British, American, IB or CBE curriculum is an advantage
- Strong classroom management skills
- Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain one in the UAE)
