I had pleasant experiences working in Eritrea, N.E.Africa. I worked as an English teacher for the secondary school which is nearly 40 min drive from the capital Asmara. This school runs in two shifts and the teachers get nearly 5 -6 teaching periods daily.The people are so friendly and they appreciate your every move. I am an Indian and that was the first time the natives were seeing so many Indians at their end. I got such a wonderful friendly circle (natives) there and people would invite me every alternate day for coffee to their house which they make it a real ritual. Inviting you for the coffee indicates that you are a guest whom they love to spend their time with you. They fry the coffee seeds boil it in an earthen pot and pour it in nearly 7 to 8 rounds and they keep chatting on all the subjects of their interest. The best part of it is, I didn´t know their language Tigringnya and they didn´t know English but we would communicate in our own ways and we would res[ond in the right manner. picked up the language with their help and my second year of stay was reallywonderful.I will share it with you in the next episode of it. This response is for Abdualnaser Ali: If you have U.S. teaching credentials U.S. schools are open if you are working on them then there are schools that will help you get the necessary requirements. You may want to check Clark County Schools in Las Vegas, Nevada they actively recruit nationals and non-nationals.
