He had MS...No Way !!!!!Chinese are very biast against disabilities...so ...dont come to China and good luck...you will find something i am sure !

I have yet to take the TEFL courese but will shortly. Your post is ironic because I was wondering along those same lines. I too have a disability and am in a wheelchair in the states. Interestingly enough, I find my physical health "changes" when I see extreme poverty.Can´t explain it (I have xrays showing I have a brain disorder - I am medically retired from the Armky). Anyhow to answer your question, I am in touch with someone in Mexico that says finding a full time job "shouldn´t be a problem at all -- providing your disability does not inhibit your ability to teach. On the other hand, I am told there is major discrimination in the esl field outside the US and Canada, and most places are not "handicap accessible. Hope this helps. I have just come back from venezuala where i was teaching for a month, but like everything it was volountary. I was told by so many people not to go as it is not wheelchair freindly. I find thatt allthough developing countries may be harder, people are so much more willing to help you and I made so many great freinds. I am currently teachimg adults with a learning disability on a volountary basis.
