I am teaching in Fukui, Japan. I have fallen into a pretty bad situation. The school I work for
owes me a lot of money, and does not respond to my numerous requests to be paid. This
includes out of pocket money owed to me for money used to pay tolls, gas and other driving
related experience. Also, the school has not paid me about 2 months salary, and at the end of
this month, it will be 3 months.

At this time the school owes me about 60 mahn.

I have searched the internet and cannot find a Japan Labor Board phone number to contact.

Anybody have a number I can call?

Start with your own consulate (it´s not clear, are you American, British, Irish or else...), call them or email them, they will have the needed numbers and some advice. After all, that´s what consulates are for - to help their compatriots.

My advice to you is go to the PSB and look for the immigration officer or you can go to the education bureau that handles school licenses and file a complaint about the school. There is always an office in charge for foreigners affairs

I would advice you to go to the Consulate of your citizenship for help, they have all the names and contact numbers to help. They should be able to help. Best to you

Think about your status and the condition you had your contract with the school before you contact anyone. Maybe you need to bail. Otherwise contact your consulate. I am adding a number I found:Board of Audit of Japan

GET OUT of there. Get another job. Go somewhere else. Same thing happened to me. I lost a full month and an airfare to get my visa when that was necessary.
