I´ve never heard of VOU but I have taught in South Korea and $30,000 seems like a decent salary (2.5 million won a month?) With the new visa rules I have seen a number of jobs offering 2.8/2.9 and I certainly wouldn´t take less that 2.2 if yu have no experience of 2.4 if you have 1 year.
