Hi everyone. Recently I have been offered to work in the Min...

my friends have been there for the last 3 years now; loved it.i think you must wear religious clothing at some places ....my friends kid saw the "princess" and got a big ring from her as a gift. easy to live and drive. Go for it.

I have never worked there but my brother worked in Bahrain for two years as a civil engineer. He said he couldn´t understand why anybody would want to work amongst a load of bigotted arabs who have the audacity to insist female employees subscribe to their lunatic religion. He stuck it out due to the fantastic money he received. I doubt whether that would apply to an EFL teacher. Go somewhere civilized!

Bahrain´s nothing like that Martin. Times have changed. Very western for the Arab world.
One of the most pleasant places I´ve ever taught - two jobs! Most people do. Have fun.
