I have received a contract from Metropolitan International College in Torrelavega. Has anyone heard of this school? I am trying to go to Europe with my family and this would be fine but they did not even talk to me before sending a contract. So I am concerned about the legitimacy.

Hey there!! I also was contacted by this school, sent a contract and was sent an email asking for 587 euros!! Definetly fraud. I have contacted Serious Teachers and cannot believe this was allowed to happen through this site!!

The Spanish Embassy took all the info I had to investigate and yesterday I received another offer from Union College. I will contact the embassy again.

Thank you for this posting. I was just offered a teaching position with Metropolitan International College in Torrelavega and after sending me the contract, they haven´t contacted me since. I was getting worried until I saw your posting. I´m glad to know it´s not legit but annoyed that Serious Teachers is still publishing it.
