Large or small classes? Of course some teachers like to have...

In my experience depending on the subject matter, the larger classes tend to carry a better educational momentum. I prefer small intensive classes where the educator has a more direct interaction with the student.

I find that it can also depend on the teaching style, and motivation of the students. If you have a small class that has a couple of people not interested then that greatly effects the class performance when compared to a larger class. I feel most comfortable around 20 students.

I believe that it isn’t a matter of having large or small classes to make students participate but it´s up to the teacher´s style of teaching. If you like your job, of course you would do well with either large or small classes!
