I think that accomodation is important because most people who travel to Asia as teachers do not know the language, customs etc. to find their own accomodations. Even the utilities are important because as an example the Chinese telecom company cut off my son´s phone because he did not his bill. He was waiting for a phone bill but later we found out that there are no bills sent and we had to go in person to the company to pay. We also found out the hard way that there is no heating in the winter time in public buildings in that area of China nor is it mandatory. This are things you don´t find out until you live there. The salary is very important also because each person has different needs. Thank you, Mary Pichardo

I think that any school that includes all the things that you mentioned are the ones that are serious about not just "finding a foreign person" but finding a teacher. The schools that I look at include all the things, housing, flight, good salary and benefits. After that they might include incentives to go somewhere it may be hard to find teachers for.

It would be fantastic to get all the amenities. BUT it depends on the school. Out of hundreds of emails I got one reply and was hired for a school in central Mexico. They do not offer anything at all besides the first month living in the dorm at $6 night. The pay is minimal. I took it to get the experience and will go from there. It can only get better!

Flight reimbursement is nice, especially since each ticket from NY to China costs over 1,000 USD.
