Entry Level Teachers,
"Looking for employment in our new career". Hang in there, it will come. I know how it feels. I am semi retired and it feels like my lifes acheivements and dedication was for nothing when you notice all the postings that say BA, PHD, and so on. I am for certain going to start my BA. However it does not help the fact that you need a teachers job. Well all we can do is stick to our values and beliefs. I know I am worth 7ooormb in China. I just wish there was a company that only recruits entry level. Guess I´ll just keep praying God takes me in the right direction...Happy Hollidays to All:))

7000 RMB in China WITHOUT a degree, is that right? If I read this right, I think you are saying that all those other suckers who have degrees (undergraduate and postgraduate) are no better than your fair self and you deserve the same amount they would be paid. Please correct my reading of this if I am wrong. Somewhat as an aside, prayer has been scientifically proven NOT to work and rather than do that and risk your life to chance, I would suggest getting on with the degree and perhaps a language teaching qualification of some sort to impress potential employers.
Good luck.

DO NOT ACCEPT A LOW SALARY IN CHINA, by doing that you are enabling the Chinese to reverse the salary trend. Basic pay per month should be 12,000 to 14,000 rmb, nothing less. Many Chinese schools and universities are recently trying to offer silly low salaries, this is a joint effort by them. They claim Chinese earn less but actually Chinese are buying cars, second homes and very much due to the ability to communicate in international business English. It is in the Chinese nature to "rip off" on salary levels, stick to your guns when negotiating a job and insist on a sensible monthly salary.
