It is indeed great to be on the Teachers´ Forum where exchange of information can take place. Every teacher is unique in his/her own style so it is a great opportunity to know, learn, transfer and use the information for a better competency . I am Ms. Angel and a teacher educator with M.A Eglish Litt. , M.Ed, Pst graduate diploma in English Studies (CIEFL), M.Phil (Edn) from Hyderabad, India. Hope this site would bring about a new dimensionin the field of Education withso many innovative teachers around the world. I am glad to be part and parel of this forum.

Teachers rule!!THe world does not need mathematicians.THey should banished to Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria and play chess with the mad king.

English is the world´s best all-round language.I speak seven other languages and to me,English just plain rules.It is sooo nie to be number one.

George, banning mathematicians to a castle in Bavaria/Germany sounds a bit of an insult of this nice part if Germany where they have so many cows, mountains and a language that is neither German nor English. I would ban mathematicians to some odd place on the moon or on Mars, and to Bavaria I would send some highly qualified TESL teachers to civilise them and teach them speak a real language...
Please do not mind, I am joking, and I am from there. But the rest of Germany looks on us this way.

Mein Dear Herr Doktor Schmidt:I am honored to hear from a man of your apparent erudtion!But I am thrilled that you feel as I do about mathematics.Maybe the moon is too close.Jupiter might serve us better!I spent three years(drei jahre) im Berlin and have a real soft spot for Teutons,especially the compositori like Wulfie(Wolferl,Nanerl)Ludie B.and a few others.However,I must say that the Italians have stolen mein herz due to their jocularity.WE shall be pals.Viel Dank for the blurb.

Why not setting up an association with the purpose of banning mathematicians to Jupiter or whereever. And while we are shootring them up with a rocket from Cape Caneveral, let us listen to some music playing - like "Ode to Happiness" by Beethoven or "Tristan and Isolde" by Wagner or anything else by Chaikowsky! It may be a major cultural event to be attended by the former king Ludwig of Bavaria, Erich Honnecker (former leader from communist East Germany), and perhaps Herr Majesty the Queen! ...lol..
