I would like to know if anyone has any opinion on Jungchul s...

You are correct, Jungchul is a chain school. Often some schools just pay for the use of the name and just do their own thing. However Jungchul has its own curriculum and books which is sometimes good or better than being left to your own imagination to "entertain" the kids. You might want to find out exactly how they are operating to know in advance what you are walking into. Not that not following the franchise guidelines is not a good thing. Also be prepared to do some "edutainment" coined for entertaining education - the education part is rather weak, so is the teaching in S. Korea. I have been here 7 years... I know - Wonju is nice from what I hear. Its not exactly close to the capital Seoul where more is happening with the expat scene, but you will see more of the real Korea. Good luck to you! and dont take the teaching too seriously or you will be miserable. You will be the only one who values your credential and efforts.

Lewis:

If you can find work elsewhere than this would be to your benefit. You have very little autonomy concerning lesson plans at Jung-Chul and the kids can be off the wall and completely disrespectful. ( COMPLETELY!)
