I’ve only met people who worked in Kuwait but it seemed about the same as UAE, only they preferred the atmosphere in the UAE. About jobs in the UAE, there are many, and the last time I was there I just flew in and stayed at the youth hostel in Al Qusais, on Al Nahda Road and also with friends until I could find work, When I changed jobs, it was also very easy to find more work. I was only ever unemployed for around 1 to 2 weeks between jobs. It is also very easy to get private English and other subjects teaching and normally you can make 150 dhs per hour or even up to 200 doing this. I cant mention the names of websites here for finding work in UAE but there are some good ones which are also free. In my experience, UAE has one of the best markets Ive seen for ESL and other teaching by native English speakers (also for other things like writing and editing).
