I think it's would be better to completely run your own online tutoring company because you set everything up the way you want to and the way students like it. YOU are in charge, and there is a nice little life to be had if you can be successful. That's where I always get stuck. How to get students? How to reach them? Good Skype strategy? So many unanswered questions big schools in Asia seem to know.
A university or college and online are ok but it is true I am not being paid or not what I am is worth online. Tutoring is challenging here in Somaliland, my student come and go as they please. I am not sure if it a discipline problem. Thanks for the entries.
Absolutely,π as a teacher sure I prefer online teaching because it need less effort and time but I think this way isn't a perfect way for students (children or young or adult)to study especially if they don't have strong basics for example in English learning I prefer to give classes online in speaking and listening skills, however I not prefer that with grammar skills accurately... I'm not with specific side of them , for me it's so great to teach face to face and creating stronger relationship and communication with others πππππππ€£π€£even if I will not get higher salary π maybe because I am talkative and effective on the people around me π€£πππ take care...π€£π€£π honestly for teachers to build their own business online (teaching)
Actually I really think the decision is based on where you think you want to be, in your home Country or Overseas. On-line work in my opinion is much hyped and like searching for a book in amazon, there are often hundreds, if not thousands of teachers or tutors chasing the elusive student, who may or may not last more than one course with you.
Traditional teaching work in one Country offers a fixed income, visas and a chance to grow, whilst my impression of on-line teaching is its a gig, you do in your home environment, rather than a more long term option especially when their isn't exactly a scarcity of people willing to teach English, because of these on-line websites.
