I am a qualified TEFL teacher. Although I have taught on a summer school and also a one to one basis. I am having trouble finding full time employment, as I have a disability which means I sometimes use a wheelchair. Has anyone got any suggestions or come across a similar situation?

STOP WORKING FOR SLAVE WAGES!!
Wake up teachers, you are being paid wages far below the poverty level of most industrialized countries.Do not waste your hard earned degree on peanuts, lets do something about these pitiful wages.

Hi there,
My name is Wayne Rice and I am a secondary school and TEFL teacher currently teaching in South Korea. I am married and my wife is also a TEFL teacher. We are interested in hearing from any teachers who have had an exceptionally good experience teaching at a school. We are keen to hear about the school wherever it may be. We are open to teaching anywhere and will consider a variety of salaries. Would appreciate any advice or tips.
Many Thanks
Wayne Rice

ONLINE LEARNING THE WAY AHEAD FOR THE GLOBAL EXPERIENCE!
After many enjoyable years teaching EFL-ESP in the Middle East & Asia, it is an exciting prospect to use the internet to reach students worldwide.
Lets hear from others who have used this latest method of teaching.
Several organizations are advertising and it looks to be the way ahead. The advantages are obvious: No travel & visas required for teachers or students, a very short commute and the opportunity to work a schedule that fits in with a family friendly life-style.
Please share your thoughts and experiences........thanks, Chris

BEWARE OF SCHOOL SCAMS..........
The Zurich International ENGLISH School (ZIES) is a FRAUD. They took info from the REAL school ww.zis.ch (Zurich Intnal School) and changed it up just a bit to seem real, but then ask for 600 euro up front when hired--- BEWARE, IT´S A SCAM.
ANYONE KNOW OF ANY OTHER FAKE SCHOOLS JUST TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY POST IT HERE. WE COULD ALL USE THE HELP!

IFTS, my school,l runs a Far Distance TESL teacher training program consisting of 12 degree course modules incl. Linguistics, Language Learning Theory, Language Pedagogy, Methodology, CALL etc. It is free of charge and was designed to help poor students in developing countries.
For lack of funds the program has not yet been accredited but the degree conferred is legal. In some countries, this has been sufficient for our graduates to find a suitable job.
This is NOT a commercial ad... simply a brief report!

There are two options for a qualification as a TESL Teacher Trainer:
- To train other trainees in school run by a commercial provider, you obviously need to have at least the samwe qualification yourself, perhaps in addition also degree from a recognised university, and certain teaching experience.
- Training other TESL Teacher Training students at more academic level, you certainly will need an advanced degree (Master/Doctorate) from a recognised university in a relevant subject area and preferably some relevant teaching experience.
Commercial providers offer 4-week intensive course TESL teacher training programs, and I do not understand how you can be qualified within such short time. It seems to be a business......

Is it really necessary to have an ESL or TEFL to teach English with regard to the non-native speakers? There might be others on the other side of the world who are well versed with the language even with out an ESL. What about them?Aren´t they eligible for it?
